Office of Alumni Relations Hosts Successful Second Annual Executive Partners Forum
The Office of Alumni Relations at Chowan University hosted the second annual Executive Partners Forum on Friday, October 6. The event, established by the Alumni Council, brought together a near-capacity crowd of students, alumni, and faculty members.
The panelists for this year’s forum included distinguished Chowan alumni: Barry Bradberry, class of 1973; Misty Buren, class of 2004; Zachary Cooper, class of 2017; and Takaylia Mason, class of 2021. These accomplished individuals shared their personal experiences and insights on how Chowan University prepared them for their successful careers.
Dr. Pamela Woodard, Chair of the Department of Criminal Justice, Associate Professor of Criminal Justice, and Alumni Council member, expertly moderated the forum. The panelists discussed a series of thought-provoking questions developed by the Alumni Council and the Office of Alumni Relations. They highlighted their backgrounds, shared valuable tips with current students, and engaged in an interactive Q&A session.
The Executive Partners Forum provided an exceptional opportunity for students to connect with the panelists on a personal level. Following the event, students had the chance to engage in one-on-one conversations with the panelists, gaining further insights and advice.
The Office of Alumni Relations expressed gratitude to all the participants, panelists, and attendees for making the second annual Executive Partners Forum a resounding success. This event exemplifies Chowan University’s commitment to fostering meaningful connections between alumni and current students, providing invaluable networking opportunities.
