Growing. Competing. Experiencing. Learning. Developing. Together.
The goal of the Chowan Intramural Program is to offer students an inclusive environment to compete against their peers in various individual and team sports.
Our intramural program is also designed to be a learning experience for future coaches, officials, and teachers through the introduction and training of rules and procedures involved in running and coordinating these events.

The Jenkins Center
The Jenkins Center is the most popular hang-out among students. Many indoor intramurals are played there. It has a basketball court and a gym equipped with weights, treadmills, and other workout equipment.
Squirrel Park
Squirrel Park, in the center of campus, is a hot spot for outdoor intramurals. Games can start up any time. There’s plenty of room for spectators who can sit on a swing under a shady oak tree.
