2018 Spring Champions Set to Receive Rings

The 2018 spring season conference champions will receive recognition for their accomplishments over the next two home playing weekends. 

On Saturday, April 6th, the 2018 CIAA Softball Championship will be recognized prior to the start of their home game against Virginia State University. The Hawks finished the 2018 season 31-16 overall and 16-0 in CIAA play to claim their 4th CIAA Championship. Chowan cruised through the winners bracket at the 2018 CIAA Championship in Salem, Virginia to face Fayetteville State, picking up an 8-0 championship win. 

Members of the 2018 CIAA Championship squad will be recognized prior to the start of Saturday's game at approximately 11:40am at Hawks Field. Each member of the championship team will receive a championship ring.  

On Saturday, April 13th, the 2018 Chowan men's and women's tennis teams will be recognized for their Conference Carolinas Championship run. The women's tennis team beat Limestone 5-0 to claim their first-ever title in their first season of competition in the league. The women's tennis team finished the year at 20-4 overall and 11-0 in Conference Carolinas play. Click here to view the 2018 women's tennis roster. The men's squad also posted impressive numbers finished the 2018 season 15-8 overall and 8-2 in league play. The Hawks grabbed a 5-1 win over Belmont Abbey College for the 2018 Conference Carolinas Championship, also playing in their first-ever season in the league.  

Members of the 2018 Conference Carolinas Championship tennis teams will be recognized prior to the April 13th home match versus King College (Tenn.). Match time is set for 2:00pm, the championship ring presentation will take place at approximately 1:30pm at the Rose Family Tennis Complex.
