Lucci Adds Fifth Conference Carolinas POTW Honors
HIGH POINT, N.C. – Chowan University forward Carolina Lucci has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Soccer Player of the Week for matches played the week of Oct. 16-22, the Conference announced today. This marks Lucci's fifth POTW honor this year and third consecutive.
Lucci, a freshman from Monaca, Pa., posted six points on three goals to help the Hawks go 2-0-0 last week. She would tally two scores in a 3-0 non-conference win over Shaw, while netting one goal in a 2-0 league win over Southern Wesleyan.
Lucci continues her dominance in Conference Carolinas by leading the league in points (38), goals (17) and game-winning goals (9).
