CHARLOTTE, NC – Chowan University's Head Baseball Coach, Taylor Furlough, has been named the CIAA Coach of the Week after leading his squad to a 3-1 weekend. 

Furlough led the Hawks to a 3-1 weekend with three CIAA wins over Virginia State University. The Hawks split the opening two games of the series on Saturday, March 25th, but bounced back to take the doubleheader sweep on Sunday, March 26th. 

The Hawks improved their CIAA record to 3-3 after this weekend's series. 

Chowan will get back to action on Wednesday, March 29th, when Francis Marion University comes to Hawkins Field for a 1:30pm single, nine inning game.
