Spotlight on Seniors
Nearly four years ago, Trevor Marshall stepped onto campus carrying boxes, bags, and apprehension. Over the next several years, Trevor excelled, in the classroom and out. He has won awards, studied abroad, reached athletic feats, and blossomed into a leader, mentor, and proud Chowanian.
Trevor had to learn how to survive and thrive at Chowan without the help of a family. “It has given Trevor a special kind of confidence,” stated Danny Moore, Provost. “He didn’t excel at Chowan by chance. He made it happen. Step-by-step, he took his education and made it his own.”
In just a few weeks, he will embark on the next leg of his journey. He may once again be rattled by nerves. However, this time he will be bolstered by the knowledge, experiences, and friendships forged at Chowan, all of which has readied him for whatever lies ahead.
