CU Volleyball Makes Mark in Division II Statistical Rankings
INDIANAPOLIS, IN- The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) has announced volleyball individual and team statistical leaders through the week ending October 30th. The Chowan University volleyball team leads the nation in two statistical categories; aces per set and service aces.
The Hawks average 2.47 aces per set with a Division II-high 249 services aces on the year. Chowan holds opponents to a .109 hitting percentage, which ranks sixth nationwide.
Karisa Patterson ranks 17th among NCAA Division II opponents with 43 service aces on the season. Bailey Zavala follows with 41 aces on the year, ranking 38th. She also ranks 32nd in the country with 497 digs this season.

The Hawks return to action November 2nd when Chowan travels to take on Claflin University. First serve is slated for 7pm.
