Chowan University Welcomes Job Williamson as Admissions Counselor
Job Williamson, a native of Burlington, North Carolina, joined the Chowan University staff as Admissions Counselor. In this role, he will be the first point of contact for prospective students and their families and school counselors in eastern North Carolina, Western Tidewater Virginia, and the western part of Virginia.
Williamson is a 2022 graduate of Chowan University with a BS in History. As a student, he gained invaluable experience with the Admissions Office as a Tour Guide and student caller all four years of his undergraduate career. Williamson also served as the Vice President of the Student Government Association (SGA), and History Club President. During his sophomore and junior years, he was a member of the men’s tennis team.
“When I toured this great campus, I felt at home and that everyone had my best interest at heart, which is why I became a student,” shared Williamson. “Having worked in admissions as a tour guide all four years at Chowan, I got to experience the other side of the process for enrollment. I choose to work at Chowan to help students in their college enrollment journey and to get people into Chowan and through this very important time of their lives.”
Please join Chowan University in welcoming Job Williamson as a staff member.
