Chowan University cares about helping students finance their education. To make a Chowan education more affordable the University has revamped its financial aid awards to include a projected $1 million increase in Chowan-funded direct aid beginning fall 2019. Chowan already awards over $17 million in aid each year, in addition to state and federal funds.
To find out how this will impact their financial award, students must complete the FAFSA. Once they have completed the FAFSA and received their financial aid award for the 2019-2020 academic year, the Business Office will help them determine the exact impact. In most cases, the result will be a lower cost of attendance.
Current students should check their email for more information.
