CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association announced on Monday afternoon CIAA Football Players and Coach of the Week for Week Two of the 2017 season.

Bryce Witt was named CIAA Quarterback of the Week and CIAA Rookie of the Week for his efforts against Delta State this weekend.  Witt completed 65.9% of his passes going 27-41 for a career-high 319 yards.  The freshman connected on two touchdown passes.

The Rookie leads the CIAA in yards per game with 288.0 and has thrown five touchdowns.  Witt has been named CIAA Rookie of the Week for the second time in as many weeks and first as CIAA Quarterback of the Week.
