CU Women’s Golf Finishes Sixth at Barton
SNOW HILL, N.C. – The Chowan Women's Golf team wrapped their opening tournament of the fall season with a sixth place finish at the Barton Invitational in Snow Hill, N.C. The Hawks improved their score by three strokes in the final round with a team score of 349.

INSIDE THE SCORECARDS
Chowan was led by Inecia Rolle with a four-over 76 in the final round. Rolle improved her position by 14 strokes to finish tied for 21st.
Gaby Rivera-Garcia finished second for the Hawks with a 32nd place finish. Rivera-Garcia carded a final round 91.
L'leah Laing and Reina Pozo also carded a final round 91 to finish tied for 35th and 40th respectively.
Chelsea Rose also competed for the Hawks improving her scorecard by six strokes from the first round.

Chowan travels to Spartanburg, S.C. to compete in the Converse Fall Invitational at the Carolina Country Club on September 18-19.
