BORER RECORDS CONFERENCE CAROLINAS POTW HONORS
HIGH POINT, N.C. – Chowan University goalkeeper Olivia Borer has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Soccer Player of the Week for matches played Aug. 31 – Sept. 3, the Conference announced today.
This is the first Conference Carolinas Player of the Week honors for the Chowan soccer program. The Hawks competed as a member of the Conference Carolinas for the first time over the weekend.
Borer, a junior from Malabar, Fla., was a brick wall in goal for the Hawks over the weekend. Borer would lead her team to a 0-0 draw against Florida Southern after registering 11 saves in 110 minutes of action.
Borer currently leads the Conference in save percentage (1.000), while ranking fourth in saves (11).
