MURFREESBORO, NC – Chowan University's Aaron Flanagan has been named the National Collegiate Baseball Writer's Association Hitter of the Week after a banner weekend series against Lincoln University. 

Flanagan tallied nine hits in 10 at-bats for the Hawks in a four-game sweep of Lincoln over the weekend. He drove in six runs, tallied three doubles, and a grand slam in those 10 at-bats. He also scored seven runs and was 3-3 in stolen bases, including stealing home in game four of the series. 

Flanagan and the Hawks are currently 20-19 overall after a dramatic come-from-behind win over Barton on Tuesday, April 11th. Flanagan is currently hitting a .329 clip with five doubles and 13 runs batted in.
