CHARLOTTE, NC – The CIAA announced the CIAA Baseball Weekly Report on Tuesday with Chowan's Taylor Furlough earning CIAA Coach of the Week honors. Furlough and his squad went 3-0 this weekend with three straight CIAA wins over Saint Augustine's University. Game four of the series was suspended in the 9th inning due to poor weather with the Hawks leading 4-1. 

This is the second week in a row that Furlough has garnered CIAA Coach of the Week honors. The Hawks will host Lincoln University (PA) in a four-game series this weekend at Hawkins Field. First pitch on both Saturday (4/8) and Sunday (4/9) will be at 1:00pm. 
 

COACH OF THE WEEK

Taylor Furlough, Chowan University

Head Coach Taylor Furlough led the Hawks to a 2-0 weekend with a doubleheader sweep of Saint Augustine's University. He improved the Hawks CIAA record to 5-3 overall and his season record to 14-19.
