MURFREESBORO- The Town of Murfreesboro in conjunction with the Chowan University men's and women's soccer programs will host the 8th Annual Murfreesboro Spring Soccer League.  Registration begins immediately and can be completed at Town Hall on Broad Street.  The cost per child is $25.  The league is geared towards youth ages 3-13 or at the director's discretion. 

The league will focus on skill progression and game play over a five week period with practice sessions on Thursdays and games on Saturdays.

Practice will begin on Tuesday, March 14th and will take place at the Chowan University upper soccer practice fields (behind the baseball field parking lot).  Games will take place on Saturdays beginning March 18th.   For more information please contact Chris Whalley, Chowan men's soccer coach, at (252) 398-1126 or whallc@chowan.edu.
