MURFREESBORO- The Chowan University softball team has shown an on-going commitment to the local community over the past few weeks. 

In November, the Hawks spent an afternoon preparing and setting up for the Murfreesboro Historical Association Soup and Sandwich Day.  Most recently, the team spent three afternooons in December assisting the Murfreesboro Historical Association with preparations for the 31st Annual Candlelight Tour.  The team cleaned and prepared various displays used throughout the week.  The squad also assisted with clean-up and storage. 

Chowan softball student-athletes participate in various community service projects throughout the course of the year.  The Hawks take pride in making their mark in the local and campus community.
