CHARLOTTE, NC- The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) in conjunction with the CIAA Women's Basketball Coaches Association and Sports Information Directors Association announced the CIAA Women's Basketball Player, Newcomer, Rookie, and Coach of the Week on Monday afternoon.  Chowan University's LaToya Jones was tabbed CIAA Coach of the Week for the second time in as many weeks. 

Jones led the Hawks to two nonconference wins this week.  Chowan clipped Fayetteville State University 66-61 on Friday and downed Saint Augustine's University 103-51 on Saturday to maintain an unblemished 6-0 record on the season. 

The Hawks return to action on December 2nd when Chowan travels to take on Clayton State University.  Chowan hits the hardcourt again on December 3rd to battle Armstrong State University.
