Ponderings of the Provost
One of my favorite Chowan days each year is the Sunday before Thanksgiving. On that evening, the annual Honors College Student Association Awards Dinner is held off campus. This year 122 students, administrators, staff, and faculty attended the dinner at John’s Seafood. Following the dinner, a faculty member and sixteen members of the Honors College were honored for their excellence. In addition, nine members of the Executive Committee of the Honors College Student Association were thanked for their service and twenty-three seniors received an Honors College graduation gift.
