Tour Chowan University Virtually

Aug 5, 2020 by Staff Reports

The opportunity for prospective students to visit campus and see where they will attend class, study, and live is a vital part of choosing the right fit university.  To ensure that potential Chowan University students, particularly those who live some distance from campus, and now given the current pandemic, have an opportunity to see campus, the University has developed and launched a new virtual tour.

Available at chowan.edu/virtualtour, and also our campus map page (chowan.edu/map) the virtual tour provides visitors with an opportunity to see campus facilities through a guided tour, with 360-degree panoramic photos, videos and other still imagery. During the tour, visitors can request more information, apply or schedule an in-person visit.

“We are excited that we now have a virtual tour for our students. During this pandemic more than ever, students want to get a feel of campus and know what it is like to be a Chowan student, but may not be able to come to campus to tour for themselves.” shared Scott Parker, Director of Admissions.  “This not only meets that need, but can also help us better recruit a growing population of international students, who are unable to make the trip to the US for a tour. We also hope this virtual tour will supplement the actual campus tour, as it will get a student excited about Chowan and they will want to come see more!”

Additional images and videos will be added to the tour as they are developed after the resumption of on-campus learning this fall.
