Conference History: Has been a member of Conference Carolinas since 2011 after transitioning from NAIA during the 2010-11 academic year.

Athletic Highlights: Has 22 Conference Carolinas Championships, including six Conference Tournament titles and 16 Regular Season Championships. In 1922, King (then King College), defeated Lenoir-Rhyne 206-0 in football, a record that only Georgia Tech has achieved. King's women's wrestling program has four NWCA Duals Championships and four WCWA National Championships.
