Hawks Men’s Tennis Upsets Bears on the Road
The Chowan Men's Tennis team concluded their regular season with a 4-3 victory over Shaw on Tuesday afternoon. The Hawks advanced to a 7-12 overall record.

In Doubles:
Chowan dropped the No.1 doubles match 6-3 with Edmond Aynedjian and Mariano Yeh.
Seniors duo, Adi Kaliakperov and Louis Proulx recovered for the Hawks at the No.2 doubles position with a 7-5 victory over the Bears.
In Singles:
Edmond Aynedjian grabbed the first singles match 6-4, 6-3 for Chowan, before Adi Kaliakperov dropped 6-3, 6-4 at the No.2 singles match.
Mariano Yeh recovered for the Blue and White with a 6-3, 6-4 win at the No.3 singles, while Louis Proulx kept the momentum with a 7-6, 6-4 victory at the fourth singles match.
Rafael D'Atri beat his opponent 6-3, 6-4 at the No.5 singles before Shaw claimed the sixth singles match by default from Chowan.
