Bradley Cash promoted to Director of Student Life at Chowan University
Chowan alumnus, Bradley Cash, was promoted to Director of Student Life at Chowan University.
Cash, a 2012 Chowan graduate, joined the Chowan staff as the Jenkins Center Coordinator and Parker Hall Area Director after graduation and was promoted to Assistant Director of Student Life in 2017.
Mari Wiles, Minister to the University, said, “We are very excited to announce that Brad Cash has been promoted to Director of Student Life. Brad joined Chowan as a transfer student to play football. After graduation he joined the Student Affairs Team.” She continued, “When a new position was created for Assistant Director of Student Life, Brad was a natural choice. Again, Brad is a natural choice to continue to build on this excellent program.”
“I am very excited about the opportunity to advance at Chowan and to continue to serve our students. Chowan has given me various opportunities since arriving in the fall of 2009 as a student, to starting my professional career in June 2012.” He continued, “Being a former student and now having the opportunity to work with current students and seeing their potential keeps me energized and engaged. I love this place and am excited about the future of the University.”
As Director of Student Life, Cash is responsible for the design, implementation, and facilitation of campus-wide student activities and events. He oversees fraternity & sorority life and maintains the monthly activity calendars and weekly activity table tents. In addition to his responsibilities as Director, Cash has retained some of his previous responsibilities from his position as Assistant Director.
Cash is originally from Dayton, Ohio, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science. While a student, Cash was on the Chowan University Football team (Captain, 2010), Resident Assistant 2010-2012, and a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc.
