CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association announced CIAA Women's Basketball Players and Coach of the Week for Week Three of the 2017-18 season on Monday afternoon.

Redshirt senior, Chantel Roberts, picked up her first career CIAA Weekly honor with the CIAA Player of the Week nod.  Roberts, Suffolk, Va. native, averaged 21.3 points last week as the Hawks went 2-1.

Roberts started the week of competition off with a career-high 29 points on 11 made field goals including six made three pointers against Catawba.  The guard would follow up that performance with another 20+ point outing against St. Augustine's with 22 points.  Roberts would finish the week with 13 points against Fayetteville State.
