HIGH POINT, N.C. – Chowan University's Josh Baker has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Player of the Week for matches played the week of Oct. 2 – 8, the Conference announced today.

Baker, a sophomore from Winterton, England, was instrumental in helping his team collect wins in both of their games last week.  

In a non-conference victory over Concord University on Wednesday, Baker notched 2 goals and 1 assist to lead his team to a 3-2 finish.  

He followed up that performance on Saturday by posting another goal during Chowan's 2-1 win over King University.  Overall, Baker tallied 7 points on the week.
