Chowan University has set a new spring semester enrollment record with a total of 1,378 students attending classes in Murfreesboro and at the university's extended campus in Weldon. Spring enrollment has increased 1.8%, or 23 students, over last spring's record-setting 1,354 students enrolled. This is the thirdconsecutive spring the university has set an enrollment record.

“At a time when many universities and colleges are experiencing significant decreases in enrollment, Chowan continues to grow,” said Danny Moore, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs. “Interest in the University remains high from students and families who value an education and career preparation in a caring, Christian setting.”
