MURFREESBORO- The Chowan University men's basketball team and coaching staff spent time at the Albermarle Food Bank Mobile Unit at the Murfreesboro Baptist Church October 12th.  The Hawks worked together to organize food packages that help to feed families in the local area.

The team worked alongside community volunteers from a coalition of local churches, social services, and community groups to serve local families in need.  The men's basketball team participates in a variety of community service projects throughout the course of the year, and takes pride in making their mark in the local and campus community.
