Mobley hired as Residence Life Coordinator and Area Director
MURFREESBORO, NC – Chowan University announces the hiring of 2016 graduate Alisha Mobley. Selected as Miss Chowan University by the student body during her senior year, Mobley was recently hired as Residence Life Coordinator and Area Director where she helps to create a safe environment for Chowan students.
“We look forward to having her positive spirit in Residence Life,” says Assistant Dean of Students for Residence Life, Danielle Coleman. She is first smile seen in Penny Hall.
Mobley is a native of Alexandria, VA and served on the Chowan Basketball team for three years where she received All-Conference honors each year. In her last season she averaged 16.1 points per game and 7.1 rebounds per contest. She graduated as the program's fourth all-time leading scorer with 1,219 career points and netted her 1,000th career point on January 20th. Mobley is the sixth player in program history to achieve this.
In addition to athletic honors, she was also inducted into the Order of the Silver Feather, an honorary service fraternity recognizing outstanding service to the campus community and noteworthy loyalty to Chowan.
