2016 Graphics Summer Camp
High school students are making plans to attend the 2016 Summer Graphics Camp at Chowan University. It will be held on June 19-24. Twenty campers will experience “life as a college freshman” by living in a residence hall, attending classes and labs in Horner, enjoying the Hawk’s Nest for entertainment, and having meals in Thomas Dining Hall. One day is set aside for a field trip to tour a major printing facility. During their stay, campers will receive individual attention from instructors and lots of hands-on experience in offset press, structural design, screenprinting, packaging, digital print technology, photography, designing projects, and much more. Students will have the opportunity to learn what the field of graphic communications is all about.
