Women's Tennis Sweeps King on Senior Day

The Chowan Women's Tennis team continued their winning streak with a clean 6-0 victory over King on Monday afternoon.

In Doubles:
The women swept doubles over King for an early 1-0 lead into singles play. Seniors duo, Cynthia Carrier and Angelique Gouin beat their No.1 Doubles opponent 6-1 for the Hawks.

Julieta Lecce and Arina Karbolina kept the momentum for Chowan with a 6-1 win at the No.2 doubles match.

In Singles:
With a 6-1, 6-1 score, Cynthia Carrier grabbed the No.1 singles win while, Arina Karbolina beat her No.2 singles opponent 6-2, 6-0 for the Blue and White.

Julieta Lecce claimed the 6-1, 6-1 third singles victory for Chowan.

Senior, Angelique Gouin secured the 6-0, 6-1 No.4 singles win for the Hawks before teammate, Claire Revelle claimed the No.5 singles win by a default from the Tornado.
