I enjoy providing instruction in the area of sociology to the students of Chowan University. The University provides the opportunity for students to gain access to all of the tools needed to be both academically and spiritually successful in life and their communities. Recognizing and realizing the value education in today’s society is extremely important and students must sometimes learn to harness their true potential. Sociology is about life and is an exciting field that incorporates our personal lives, communities, families, crime, financial situations, groups, individual behavior, and many other areas that affect a person’s decisions on a daily basis.
