Inclement Weather Change in Status
Due to the impending weather, and the likelihood that road conditions will be unsafe early, Thursday, January 28, 2021, the University has made the following decisions for January 28:
-The University will shift to remote instruction for Thursday, January 28, until 1:00 p.m.
-Staff will report at 12:30 p.m.
-Essential staff should report to campus at their regular time, and essential services, including food service, will continue as normal.
-Computer labs in Belk Hall, Whites Crossing, McSweeney Hall, and Camp Hall will open at 8:00 a.m.
-Whitaker Library will open at 12:30 p.m.
Students, faculty, and staff, should monitor their Chowan emails Thursday morning for updates.
Our student, faculty, and staff safety is of the utmost importance. As always, Chowan University community members should put safety first when traveling during inclement weather.
