Harvest Fest 2018

It is that time of year – the temperature is dropping, the leaves are beginning to turn colors, and Chowan University invites the community to celebrate the fall season at Harvest Fest on Wednesday, October 31, 2018, from 5-7 PM in the Hawks Nest.

Harvest Fest is an annual event hosted by the Student Government Association (SGA) in collaboration with over 25 student clubs and organizations. Chowan students set up booths with activities, food, and candy for local children to enjoy. This safe alternative to trick-or-treating is free to the public. Not only does it offer children a safe, fun time, it also allows them to experience a small taste of college life and interact with current students.

The same evening, the Department of Graphic Communications along with the photography club will host a Haunted Studio 5-7: 30 PM. The event will offer a free photo session and print, located at Horner Graphic Communications Building. This event is first come first served.

Both events are family friendly and costumes are encouraged. Bring your kids or grandchildren and enjoy a fun evening of fall activities with Chowan students, faculty, and staff. All ages are welcome; frights will be kept to a minimum.
