CU Community Night
The Chowan University athletic department is proud to announce details for the 7th Annual CU Community Night. This event is a free, fun night for the Roanoke-Chowan community and kicks-off the start of a new athletic year for the Hawks. CU Community Night will take place outside, behind the Helms Center on the upper field on Thursday, August 20th at 6:30pm.
Coaches and student-athletes from the men's and women's cross country, football, men's and women's soccer and volleyball teams will be present. Gattis Hodges will host his show, "Talkin' Sports with Gattis Hodges" (CBS Sports Radio/WDLZ) via live remote and will interview coaches and student-athletes.
Hawks' fans will have the opportunity to interact with Chowan's fall athletic teams as well as various members of the athletic department.
The CU Community Night is a family-oriented event featuring activities and entertainment including: mini skills clinics, a bounce house, face painting, giveaways and meet-and-greet time with student-athletes, coaches and community members. Light refreshments will be available.
