CU Athletics Community Night! Free Family Fun!

Announcement- (Please take note of changes):

Due to wet field conditions on the upper practice fields, the 9th Annual CU Athletics Community Night will be held behind the Helms Center overlooking the soccer/lacrosse field. Parking is available in the Helms and Vincent Center Lots. 

This is a free, family event that is in its' ninth year. We hope that you will attend! It's a great way to kick off the year.

Time: 6:30pm-8:30pm

The Chowan University athletic department is proud to host the 9th Annual CU Community Night on August 17th at 6:30pm.  The event will be held rain or shine on the upper athletic fields behind the Helms Center. CU Athletics Community Night is a free, fun night for the Roanoke-Chowan community and kicks-off the start of a new athletic year for the Hawks. 

Coaches and student-athletes from the football, men's and women's soccer, cross country, cheerleading, and volleyball teams will be leading games and activities for children. Coaches and staff members will be on site to meet and greet the community in attendance. 

The voice of the Hawks, Gattis Hodges, will be on site for livestream interviews with coaches and select student-athletes.  Fans can follow the livestream at www.gocuhawks.com

CU Community Night is a family-oriented event featuring activities and entertainment including: mini skills clinics, bounce houses, face painting, giveaways, and meet-and-greet time with student-athletes, coaches and community members.  Light refreshments will be available to those in attendance. 

This event is a free, family event. Parking will be located at the Helms Center and in the gravel lot behind Hawkins Field off of Union Street.
