The 161st Commencement did not take place last year because of COVID-19 restrictions.
We will celebrate the Class of 2020, who were graduated but had no on-campus Commencement in May 2020. If you have not already reserved your spot in Commencement, email the Registrar’s Office (registrar@chowan.edu) immediately with your full name, email address, phone number and mailing address.
Each graduate will receive three guest tickets. Attendance is permitted by ticket only.
Mask and social distancing are required at all Commencement activities.
Parking
The Camp Hall and Pond Center Parking lots will be reserved for handicapped and special guests. All Commencement guests may park in any of the other campus parking lots. There is a limit on the number of guests for seating at the stadium. Each graduate will be given three tickets for their guests.
Processional
All graduates will line up at the Hawks Nest at 9:00 am. The ceremony begins promptly at 10 am.
Recessional
All graduates will recess from Garrison Stadium to the gazebo where you will ring the bell. Please remain in order for the recessional.
