For the first time in the history of Chowan University, a virtual commencement celebration was held for the class of 2020. The in-person Commencement Ceremony was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic but will take place on December 19, 2020.
Following the April Board of Trustees meeting, Chowan University shared with its faculty, staff, and Board of Visitors updates across the University. Perhaps the most monumental was the University's plans to update and enhance its academic offerings.

While COVID-19 prevented us from holding events for The 2020 Chowan Academic Forum this year, a publication was dedicated to all the faculty, staff, and students who committed their time in planning the events.
