Submission Agreement 

The information that I am submitting is, to the best of my knowledge, accurate and true. I understand that my submission will be reviewed, researched, and may be edited for use in a print publication or on a publicly-accessible blog site or web page and, if published in a web-format, will remain accessible for a period of time to be determined by Chowan University, in its sole discretion. I understand that a representative of the University may contact me for further information if needed. I also understand that my submission of this information does not obligate Chowan University to use my information in any manner whatsoever.

I understand that it is Chowan's policy that personally identifiable information submitted will be used only for Chowan-related purposes, which may include publication in print and on-line formats. Requests for information and information submitted via forms on Web Sites will be directed to the appropriate staff to respond to those requests and may be recorded to help improve the site to better respond to similar requests. Chowan regularly uses analysis and reporting tools to evaluate web server logs and e-mail tracking to understand usage and effectiveness of Web Sites and e-mail communications. These tools are used to evaluate aggregate usage and analyze trends. Chowan, by practice, does not engage in monitoring or tracking the activities of individuals. Chowan may use log information in any investigation of a potential violation of Chowan policies and procedures or as required by federal, state or local law.
