The 2015 Chowan University McDowell Columns Scholar Prize was presented to Thomas P. Brennan, Associate Professor of Graphic Communications, during the Celebration of Faculty Scholarship and Creative Achievement on Tuesday, November 3.
As part of Chowan’s mission of teaching, learning, and service, the university is relaunching its Academic Outreach Program, a program that operated under the guidance of John Hinton, Special Assistant to the President, from 2005 to 2011.
A science scholarship has been established in honor of Dr. Garth D. Faile, a Distinguished Professor of Chemistry. The donor, who wishes to remain anonymous, is a medical doctor who was taught and mentored by Dr. Faile. The scholarship expresses the donor’s love and appreciation for Dr.
