The Chowan University chapter of the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society for first-year students tapped eighty-three students for membership this week. Students must have a 3.5 GPA or higher and be in the top twenty percent of the firstyear class to be considered for membership.
Chowan University has been a member of the Yes We must Coalition since 2014. Founded in 2010, it is made up of thirty-six private, non-profit colleges and universities whose undergraduate enrollment includes fifty percent or more Pell-eligible students.
