The Chowan University athletic department is proud to host the 10th Annual CU Community Night August 16th at 6:30pm. The event will be held rain or shine. Barring poor weather, the event will be hosted on the upper athletic fields behind the Helms Center. The rain location is the Helms Center.
Each year, Academic Affairs at Chowan University celebrates the spirit of service by honoring professors with the Faculty Excellence in Community Service Award. The 2017-2018 awardees are Dr. William Collins, and Dean Christina Rupsch.

Chowan University will launch two new degrees fall of 2018. In an effort to provide additional structure to an already existing interdisciplinary studies degree, Chowan will launch integrative studies and general studies Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees.
