VISITING EXECUTIVE PROGRAM

The Visiting Executive Program in Chowan University’s Department of Business expands students’ educational horizons by connecting them directly with accomplished business leaders from diverse industries. Each semester, a visiting executive spends the day on campus—engaging with students in classes, sharing insights over a networking meal with a select group of students and faculty, and delivering a keynote address to the wider campus community.

Since its inception, the program has welcomed executives including a former vice president of the Richmond Federal Reserve Bank, senior partners at a major accounting firm, healthcare executives, leaders in banking and credit unions, directors of sales and marketing, entrepreneurs, and top managers from industries such as agriculture, construction, manufacturing, communications, and economic development.

Through these personal interactions, students gain valuable perspectives, professional connections, and real-world insights to prepare them for leadership in today’s business environment.
