Chowan Biology Students Present Research at Statewide Undergraduate Symposium

MURFREESBORO, N.C. — Three Chowan University Biology majors—Elizabeth Ingle, Lyniah Lee, and Justin Peterson—advanced their academic and professional pursuits this past weekend as they presented original research at the State of North Carolina Undergraduate Research and Creativity Symposium (SNCURCS), hosted by Elon University. Message from the Dean

Welcome to the School of Undergraduate Studies, a school that strives to build a community of talented and ethical professionals well-equipped to communicate, contribute, and excel in the global marketplace.  Students can expect a familial atmosphere with a caring faculty and staff that devote their time to helping their students before, during, and after class.  Regardless of the major, students will encounter experienced and driven faculty that will guide them on the path to achieve their academic goals.  

Our students receive an educational experience that extends beyond the classroom.  Students will develop relationships with faculty and peers through one of our many clubs and organizations.  Additionally, students can apply their knowledge and gain valuable career experience through our exciting internship programs.
