Chowan Student-Athlete Earns TopDrawerSoccer Weekly Honor
Murfreesboro, N.C. — Oct. 17, 2025 — Chowan University is proud to announce that freshman forward Cameron Letterlough has been named D2 Men’s Player of the Week for October 9-15, as featured in TopDrawerSoccer’s “Men’s D2, D3, NAIA Weekly Recap.”
During the week under review, Letterlough extended his scoring streak to six consecutive matches, tallying two goals versus Southern Wesleyan and another goal against Mount Olive. This recognition places him among the top performers across the NCAA Division II landscape.
“We’re thrilled to see Cameron’s hard work and consistency rewarded,” said Coach Whalley. “His ability to maintain a scoring presence week after week speaks volumes about his talent and determination. He’s emerging as a key playmaker for the Hawks.”
