Chowan’s Annual Faculty Symposium Showcases Community and Scholarship
On April 9, 2025, Chowan University hosted its Annual Faculty Interdisciplinary Symposium as part of the Chowan Academic Forum: A Celebration of the Intellectual and Artistic Life of the University.
This year’s symposium centered on the theme of Community, with faculty from across disciplines presenting original research to students in a day-long series of sessions — each moderated by a student from the Honors College. The event highlighted Chowan’s distinctive academic environment, where students and faculty engage deeply, exchange ideas, and thrive within a vibrant community of learning.
