MURFREESBORO, N.C. – Marcel Ungerboeck of the Chowan University Tennis team has been named Conference Carolinas Men’s Tennis Player of the Week following his performance against NCAA DI Norfolk State.

Ungerboeck partnered with Tadeo Missan to dominate the Spartans’ Deniz Okyay and Igor Kubalka in the men’s doubles, securing a decisive 6-1 victory. In his singles matches, Ungerboeck defeated Gorbatenko twice, winning both encounters 6-4.
