Charlotte, NC – The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) announces its 2017 Preseason Baseball All-Conference Team and Predicted Order of Finish as selected by the CIAA Baseball Coaches and Sports Information Directors Associations.

The Chowan University Hawks, who dominated last season's championship finals in a doubleheader contest versus WSSU, have been predicted to take the crown once again this year. The Rams of Winston-Salem State University were selected to finish runner-up.

As conference play nears, teams battle for their seed at the four-team CIAA Baseball Championship. This year's conference championship will be held May 4-6, 2017 on the campus of Virginia State University in Petersburg, Virginia.
