Moving my life to serve at Chowan University has been a grand adventure. I have lived in a lot of places but this is my first small town experience. I am enjoying exploring Northeastern NC.

I am a Vinton, Virginia native and proud alum of Chowan University! While at Chowan, I served as an Ambassador and Leadership Scholar. I was also a four-year Football letterman and two-year captain, and still hold football records at CU. My wife, Jennifer, and I were called back to Chowan to serve as the Associate Ministers. I mentor students, serve as chaplain to the men's sports teams, and oversee the Fellowship of Christian Athletes huddle at CU. I also preach and lead worship for local churches and youth groups.

I graduated from Chowan in 2004 with a B.A. in Religion, and went on to Gardner-Webb University to receive my Master of Divinity in 2007. I am back on staff at Chowan as the Associate Minister to the University as a pastor to students, faculty, and staff. My burden is to bring a bolder face of Christ to our campus.
