Women Fall at St. Augustine's

RALEIGH, NC - The women's basketball team fell to 9-12 on the year after losing to St. Augustine's  45-36 on the road this evening. The Hawks were held to just 7 second half points in the loss. 

Chowan took a two point 29-27 lead into halftime but were unable to get the offense going in the second half. Neither team seemed to get in sync as St. Augustine's managed just 18 second half points. 

Chowan had no players in double figures but AJ O'Bannion got off 9 points and 3 rebounds to lead her team. Lauryn Perry netted 6 points off the bench while Joi Hazel had 5 assists and 2 steals. 

The Hawks will host Allen University on Wednesday at 5:30pm in the next match up.
