Golf Sits in 4th Place at Fusillade Invitational

RAEFORD, NC - The men's golf team opened their 2007 season today at the Fullisade Invitational hosted by Louisburg College where they finished day one of the tournament in 4th place out of 8 participating teams. 

Chowan was led by Austin Teal who came in with the team's lowest round with 74 strokes. Josh Hornby finished 18 holes with a 85 while Brian Haynie shot a 93. Michael Edwards shot a 97 and Patrick Lynch finished with 120 strokes. 

The Hawks will compete in day two of the tournament tomorrow morning with a shot gun start at 8:00am. Cape Fear CC is currently the first place team.
