Chowan's Ashley Bradford Named to NCCSIA All State Team

Ashley Bradford is one of three freshman to be  named to the NCCSIA All-State Team

MOUNT OLIVE, NC - Chowan's Ashley Bradford was one of three freshman to make the 2006 NCCSIA All-State Women's Soccer Team. The team, released this morning, is voted on by Sports Information Directors from colleges and universities in North Carolina. 

Bradford joins the team after a solid rookie season that saw many new records set after her final stats were posted. The native of Chesapeake scored a new program mark of 23 season goals while also tallying a new mark for season points at 55. 

Bradford logged eight multiple goal games this season, including four games in which she scored three goals. She helped her team to a 9-10-2 overall record and was named to the NCCAA All South Region team this year. She maintained a top five national statistical ranking for the entire 2006 season.
